Trunk or Treat!

We had our annual Anthem Ward Trunk-or-Treat and it was a blast! Hailey and Peyton love their friend Matthew Hunt who was dressed as Batman and the girls wore their witch costumes. I only was able to get a couple of pictures because they were having way to much fun to stop and pose for the camera!

Seattle

Brock and I got to have a great weekend in Seattle kid free! We both had never been before and had a great time exploring.

This was a small island off the Puget Sound called Port Orchard. We had to drive our car onto a ferry and ride it across the Sound it was such a beautiful day!

One of our friends had recommended a restaurant in downtown Seattle called Daniel's Broiler it was right on Union Lake and it was delicious! We had a great trip and can't wait to go back! And thanks to my mom for watching the girls and our great friends Zane and Sloan for watching Jax!

Surprise, Arizona Race

We got to Surprise, AZ on Thursday night and just got settled into our hotel. Friday was practice and qualifying. It was a scorcher of a weekend with temps hitting 100 degrees! Hailey and Peyton definitely kept busy here they were helping Sparky groove tires.
Bryce is sponsored by a company called Super Clean and they had these cardboard cutouts made up of him. Friday night some friends from other teams decided to borrow them and take some pretty funny pictures of Bryce in the porta potty, at the ATM, in peoples beds, just basically anywhere funny around the track!

Bryce and I before a practice on Friday
Brock and the girls before his qualifier on Friday
Brock looking very handsome in his gear!
Bryce after an amazing win on Saturday. It was a very intense race! This is his first year in a Pro 2 and he is racing against veterans who have been racing and winning for years so for him to win twice this weekend was incredible especially since he is only 22!
Bryce on the podium.
The girls with the Geico Gecko, who they were infatuated with the whole weekend. They were so excited to watch Bryce win and so they waited for him to get out of his truck and say to him "Bryce you're a winner"! and then proceeded to say since you won can I meet the Gecko? Needless to say they got to meet the Gecko and even play ring-around-the-rosey!

Springs Preserve

So for a new tradition called Grandma's Day we took the kids to The Springs Preserve.
Peyton and Sally are playing with the water button on a dirt table.
Hailey and Joe are busy digging in the mud.
The kids are sitting in a train that modeled the trains that took all settlers and their belongings from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City to Las Vegas.
I think the kids favorite part of the day was the playground. Hailey and Peyton are climbing a giant Mammoth Fossil. We had a great day and can't wait to go back soon!

The Venetian Dinosaur Exhibit

After school on Wednesday I took the girls and their friend Gracie to the Dinosaur/Fossil Exhibit at the Venetian Hotel. They had a great experience and loved seeing the full sized T-Rex and Mammoth fossils. Even more unbelievable is that they are all being auctioned off! Can you imagine taking home a fossilized creature?
(The pictures are taken from my phone so not very good images)

6 Years!

Brock and I celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary on September 20th! First we started off the night by doing a little shopping at Nordstrom and then we had a delicious brazilian dinner at the Mirage in one of our favorite restaurants Samba Grill! I can't believe it's been 6 years already time really does fly! I have the greatest husband he always has me in hysterics and is the most laid back go with flow person (except when it comes to food), and the most adoring dad!
