8 YEARS

To celebrate our 8 years we went back to the place where it all began Morton's. It was originally the place where Brock wanted to propose, but because they didn't listen to Brock's request of a private room and stuck us in the middle of the dining room he took me to the temple after and asked me there. Which I preferred anyway.
They even printed us a personal menu!
Being married to Brock is what I would describe as a roller coaster not because of the "ups and downs" part but the "hang on because its gonna be a wild ride" part! He is literally my other half and what I mean by that is whatever I'm embarrassed or too scared to do he does with out an ounce of either of those, which sadly enough is a lot! I admire him for that fearlessness. He does not EVER get embarrassed it's like that personality trait has never existed for him! Some of the highlights of our marriage are:
1. Having a dream like wedding & reception
2. Going to Hawaii 2 times our first year of marriage
3. Having 2 years of just us before starting our family
4. Having identical twins
5. Having a boy
6. Traveling with our kids to places like Costa Rica, St. Thomas, Hawaii (again), Paradise Island.
7. Laughing a lot
8. Weekly date nights
9. Racing
10. Sand Dune trips and campouts

I can't believe its been 8 years!

Utah

We went to SLC for Brock's cousins wedding and stayed at Aunt Tracy's house which is probably my kids favorite place on the planet and I can't really blame them. There is 2 acres of grass, grass and more grass along with an in ground tramp and horses. I love it there too! While we were there we took the kids to The Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. Jax's favorite thing right now is dinosaurs so he was beyond ecstatic! We took their cousin Brynn along.
Fun learning area

Riding a triceratops

Digging for fossils

Saturday us adults attended Brian & Amy's sealing in the SLC Temple and then some of us wanted to check out the top of the Conference Center. I don't know why but I failed to get any pictures of the wedding/reception!

Jax's 1st Day of Preschool

Although Jax had been going to Miss Alisha's over the summer this is his 1st day of real preschool and he was so excited. He got out of the car and ran inside before I could kiss him or get a picture, little stinker. Once again I'm not so sure about this! I've been missing him all morning.

Kindergarten!

I can't believe I have Kindergartener's! Hailey & Peyton have been so excited to attend Kindergarten all summer. We decided to put them in the all day program. They had attended 3 years of preschool and got a really great head start attending Challenger last year. I thought I was ready for them to go all day as well until it got closer and then I started getting sad that my girls were going to be gone all day everyday, but I knew it was what was best for them. They got an awesome teacher Mrs. Consalo who has as much energy as they do which is A LOT!!

A little nervousness about going to play at The Kindergarten playground the first day but no reservations since
Jax is very lost without his sisters at home with him
Some friends from our ward
Waiting in their classes line
Listening to Mrs. Consalo read The Kissing Hand and telling the kids that they have to be strong for their mommies and daddies cause they are going to cry!
