Jax Turns 2! (Part I)

My precious little boy turned 2 on September 24 which also happened to be a race weekend in Surprise, AZ so we did both! My parents were kind enough to let us fly there on their jet and Jax's favorite thing lately is planes so he was more then thrilled to get to see one up close! He spots them in the sky and yells PANE MOM PANE! So cute!
When we got there Bryce came and picked the girls up on the moped. They love their Uncle Bryce!
Hailey and Peyton's favorite thing to do at the races is to help Sparky groove tires
That night we threw Jax a little Birthday Party. My mom got lots of SpongeBob decorations and I brought a Spongebob cake all the way from Vegas! He loves loves loves Spongebob so he was very excited! It was his first of 2 parties since all the family couldn't be there.

Our favorite friends from AZ came out for the day on Saturday with their kids and as you can see they had a blast! Thanks Liles' Family for always supporting us!
Bryce got two 3rds that weekend it was amazing!! I'm so proud of him!
Love this family photo of us! Just wish my dad was in it!
Some of things about Jax:
He loves playing with Cars
Planes
Balls
Legos
His sisters (who are his favorite people)
He loves riding his bicycle which he his getting pretty good at
Some of his favorite phrases are:
Where'd it go? I don't know?
Hi
Love you
NO
Mommy (he calls Brock that too)!
Thank You
See Ya
Vroom Vroom
He likes watching:
SpongeBob
Umi Zoomi
Scoob (Scooby Doo)
Bryce's race video's ( he will watch them for hours on the computer)

How different it has been to have a boy! Things are much more relaxed with him. He is night and day compared to the twins'. He does have a temper but at the same time is much more content. We are so blessed to have him in our family and love watching him grow and change everyday! Can't believe two years has gone by! Love you Jax!

Pottery

I've been wanting to take the girls to a pottery place for awhile now and we finally found the time and went. It was a really fun experience for them. They chose to paint cats and my mom painted a water bowl for her dogs, I simply supervised.

The finished cats!

Hiking

When you live in Las Vegas and temperatures are well into the hundreds all summer long you have to get creative. So we did a lot of hiking at Mt. Charleston. They have a lot of kid friendly trails that are a mile or two round trip and the weather was always amazing! And the best part is that the kids loved it!

This is called The Little Falls Trail

When we finally made it to the waterfall it was a tucked back in a canyon and unfortunately there was graffiti everywhere. Which was a little disappointing because the little waterfall was beautiful.

On Labor Day weekend we took a drive up to Zion to do some more hiking and to check out where Boe and Ashlee were going to be married. Jim and Kayleen were on the way back from SLC so they joined us!

1st Day of Pre-K

The girls are attending Challenger School this year for Pre-K. On the Friday before school started we got to go meet their teachers. We decided to put them in separate classes so we had 4 teachers to meet! Peyton's teacher's are Miss Ashleigh and Miss Amber and Hailey's are Miss Cierra and Miss Jaime.
First day of school with their new lunch boxes and outfits! I can't believe next year they'll be in kindergarten!

Ashlee's Bridal Shower

Showers are so fun especially when there thrown for you! And I think Ashlee had a very successful one. She had lots of family come in town and there was yummy food and of course great gifts. Her sisters had a cute game of guessing what Boe's answers were to some pretty funny questions, Jamie had everyone tie a quilt and her aunt made a gorgeous ribbon bouqet/veil. All in all it was a fun day!
Congrats Ashlee!

Atlantis

Back in July my parents took us back to Atlantis in The Bahamas. It was one of my favorite places that I traveled to as a child. This time I got to take Brock, Hailey and Peyton (Jax stayed home with his Grandma and Grandpa Krahenbuhl) and experience it all over again with them!

Peyton ready to fly with her kitty neck pillow Grandma got for her.
Hailey and her piggy neck pillow.
One of things we were excited for was for the twins to experience kids camp for the first time. They went about 3 times and loved it, as did we!
The Family plus Bryce's friend Cody.
Showing off their face painting's that they got at Kid's Camp.
My Aunt Jackie happened to be on a cruise the same time we were at Atlantis and had a stop on Paradise Island so she came and hung out with us for the day.
Grandpa treated them to build-a-bear type store.
Turtles!
The beautiful beach! (Peyton)
Hailey
Grandpa and Daddy trying to help them catch fish with their nets.
Showing off their nets that they insisted on taking everywhere!
Waiting to go on a snorkeling excursion.
The excursion has their own private island and it was gorgeous!
Boat ride
One of the last days we got to swim dolphins and sea lions!
Thanks mom and dad for another amazing trip!
