Newport Again and Disneyland!

When Nicole and I went on our girls trip back in April we planned a Disneyland trip with our kids for June and I can't believe it's already come and gone! We had so much fun but are completely exhausted! We ended up staying at the beach house since it's only about a 20 min. drive to Disneyland and it worked out great because we ended spending one of the days playing on the beach and taking the kids to Fashion Island to have mine and Nicole's favorite R+D Kitchen for dinner!
Fashion Island koi pond
One of my favorite people! I aspire to be like her!
Pirates of the Caribbean
The whole trip Hailey kept standing by random things saying "mom take my picture"!
The whole group at California Adventure we had way better luck with lines the second day!
Peyton in A Bug's Land

The Ladybug Teacups! We made all the kids sit together and Nicole and I got in our own so we didn't have to deal with the extra spinning!
Pluto!
Hannah and Elisabeth with my girls. I am so grateful for them they were the biggest helpers and never complained! I told Nicole I don't know if we could of done it without them! Thanks so much to The Hunt Family for an awesome trip can't wait to do it again soon!

Father's Day

On the morning of Father's Day I let Brock sleep in while I got up super early to make his favorite breakfast, homemade cinnamon rolls and quiche. We invited Jim and Kayleen over to celebrate with us, it was also Kayleen's birthday that day!
Our yummy cinnamon rolls!
For lunch we headed to my parents to barbecue and swim! We had my favorite carne asada, mexican rice, beans, guacamole, salsa, and fruit! It was great to spend the afternoon with my dad!

For dinner we went to Agave in Summerlin and celebrated Father's Day and Kayleen's Birthday, sorry no pictures of this I think I was pretty exhausted from all the day's activities by then! I love celebrating father's day because I'm so lucky to have such strong influential men in my family and I love them all greatly! Love you guys!

Newport in June

Last weekend we loaded up the kids and headed to Newport! It was our first time going with just the 5 of us and we had a blast! When we got there Friday evening we decided to take a bike ride. We ended up going all the way to the pier and Hailey and Peyton rode their own bikes (without training wheels) the whole way! But, we decided to make them all ride in the trailer on the way back.
Ice Cream Faces! Jax was so proud to be squished in between his sisters he loved every second of it!
On Saturday our friends The Gordon's came to play with us at the beach since they were at Disneyland for the weekend. The kids had a blast and played perfectly together! Brock's brother and fiance also came and stayed Saturday night. Thanks for coming Boe and Ashlee!
I wish I would of taken more pictures of all the fun things we did, but I've been really bad with my camera lately! We had a great weekend and are already planning on going back soon!

HAWAII!

The weekend Tanner passed away we sat in the motorhome discussing places that we would all love to go on a family vacation to because although we travel quite a bit together it's usually to watch one of Tanner's races so he wanted go on a "real vacation." He kept saying Hawaii was where he would like to visit and so after the crash when we went back to comb through the site I found a piece of paper face down and when I flipped it over it had a map of Hawaii on it. It must of gotten torn out of the book of maps that was stored in the motorhome during the crash so we took it as a sign that one day Tanner would like us to take that family trip to Hawaii. So on May 8th, 2010 in honor of T we flew to Maui, HI!

We're here!
We travel a lot so we weren't to worried about the long flight with the kids and as we expected they were angels. Jax slept the first 3 hours and then watched a movie the rest of the time!
We stayed in Lahaina at the Maui Ocean Club. It was perfect for our families because they were timeshares so they had 2 to 3 bedrooms and a kitchen in each unit and we had 2 of them for all of us to share!
They had a great kids pool with lots of slides and a pirate ship in the middle of a sandy area.

We ate at Bubba Gumps for Mother's Day and it was delicious!

The beach in front of our hotel was kind of hard with kids because of the drop off so we walked down to Black Rock and spent the day playing on the beach and snorkeling with sea turtles.
Every time Brock and I go to Maui we have to snorkel at Molokini so we talked the family into joining us and had a blast. We saw a mother hump back whale and her calf swimming with dolphins on the way there and on the way back we say sea turtles again!

The twins were the only ones brave enough to go off the slide on the boat!

Everyone knows Jax loves ice cream and grandpa was crazy enough to let him eat it while on his shoulders!

The Hyatt Luau!

Mama's Fish House
If any of you have eaten there I don't even need to explain for those of you haven't, it's AMAZING! By far the best fish I've ever had in my life! And an incredible atmosphere on top of it!

Thanks to The Krahenbuhls' for this amazing vacation and we even got a little surprise from Tanner when we found out that the King of Motorcross Jeremy McGrath was staying at our same hotel and ended going on a mountain bike ride with the guys and since then has become a friend of the family!

Walking With Dinosaurs

So back in March we were able to take the girls to experience the show Walking With Dinosaurs and they loved it! It was a very educational show with all sorts of life like dinosaurs. I love that the twins are very well rounded they love anything from princesses to reptiles and bugs so it makes it easy to do something special with them!
